Virtual Desktops with XP PowerToys
With Microsoft
PowerToys installed on Windows XP the Microsoft Virtual Desktop
feature is available. Up to four different desktops can be built and
customized with different applications, icons, and backgrounds. To
activate Microsoft Virtual Desktop feature:
Right click [Taskbar]
select [Tool Bar] and click [Desktop Manager]
The Microsoft Virtual Desktop Manager [MSVDM] will open on the
right side of the taskbar, displaying the [Preview] button and the
four individual desktop buttons. Right click any of the five buttons
to access the desktop feature sets and the help file.
