Unlock and Customize Toolbars
Many features of
Windows XP are accessible via the toolbars, including the Task Bar,
Start Menu and features within Internet Explorer and Outlook
Express. The majority of toolbars in XP are locked by default to
prevent changes. To customize the toolbars:
Right-click the
toolbar to be modified, then click [Lock the Toolbars] to remove the
check mark.
Right-click the toolbar again, then click [Customize].
Add and remove toolbar buttons. Change text and icon options. When
you've got the toolbar customized, Click [Close] when the
customization is complete.
Right-click on the toolbar and click [Lock the Toolbars] to lock
them in place.
