Manages CD recording using Image Mastering Applications
Programming Interface (IMAPI). If this service is stopped,
this computer will be unable to record CDs. If this service
is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will

capability, this will give you the power to Burn Baby, Burn.
If you have a problem with burning CD's, check Auto Update
for a patch and then set this service to Automatic. |

Yes, you -do- have to have a CD burner installed or else
this is useless. It -does not- turn a standard CD Drive into
