What Is Babruisk.info And How Do I Get Rid Of It.

Am using XP Pro SP2. IE & FIREFOX as browsers.
Avast personal free as av.
Everytime i start Firefox the status bar shows
waiting for babruisk.info. What is this and how can i eleminte it
IE does not show this.
Have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it but to no avail.
Any suggestions as to what is babrusk.info and how do i get rid of it ?

You spell it two different ways. Before going on a goose hunt, which is the proper one? Either one doesn't provide any relevant info on Google, apart from your thread at Systernals and Tech Support Forum. And of course this GIF image from babruisk.com... :lol:

OK, serious now... :wub:
The name or word babruisk or babrusk has ties with the Russian language. If no one else has any better suggestions, I would seriously have a look at these guidelines and consider submitting a HJT log in the appropriate forum.
