Heya guys,
I recently purchased a dvd/cd rw drive with a lightscribe capability. I don't know a great deal other than what i've read abouto this topic, and the drive itslef hasn't turned up with any info to kinda push me in the right direction.

Anyway, I have Nero 7 Ultra, and according to their site, nero is now a partner with lightscribe. It says that as long as i have 6.01 or later, and have the lightscribe host software, then i should be able to select this option from somewhere inside nero.

My problem is that i don't see any lightscribe options or tabs anywhere in nero, including the labeling menus. I followed a "how to" article, and at one point they go to the options menu in the burning windows. In this screen they have one more tab than me.....a lightscribe tab lol.

Am i missing something really obvious, or do i need to kick start the lightscribe feature in nero somehow?

Failing this, i'm not afraid to use another piece of software if it means getting the lightscribe to work, only i'd prefer to stick with one burning suite.

Thanks a bunch in advance guys <_<

whoops, wrong forum, can't see a "delete post" option anywhere lol

Read chapter 6 of the Nero Cover Designer help file..
ftp://ftp6.nero.com/user_guides/nero7/cov...gner_ug_eng.pdf

Maybe you have installed Nero before installing the Lightscribe drive and i have a hunch that you need to reinstall Nero to make it recognize the Lichtscribe drive.. According the Cover designer tutorial you should find the litescribe option in the drop down menu of the File tab from Cover Designer.. <_<
