This page is designed primarily as a

Welcome to the Backup Utility Advanced Mode
(Welcome Tab)
The opening
screen that accesses the Backup Wizard (Advanced), the Restore
Wizard (Advanced), and the Automated System Recovery Wizard.
This screen has four (4) tabs labeled Welcome, Backup, Restore
and Manage Media, and Schedule Jobs that can be used to access
the same settings without using the wizards. |
| |
|
 |
Backup Tab
This screen is
used to mark the files in a Windows Explorer type environment
that you wish to be included in the backup. It also includes
the Start Backup button. |
| |
|
 |
Restore and Manage Media Tab
This screen is
used to manage previously completed backups and the
restoration process through use of the Restore Files To
and Start Restore buttons. |
| |
|
 |
Schedule Jobs Tab
This screen
provides an overview of all scheduled backups on the system.
The Add Job button invokes the Welcome to the Backup
Wizard. |
| |
|
It's possible to set up your backups
using the four screens shown above but some of the available options
will be missed using only that method. Go to Tools on the menu bar
and select Options... to open the Options property sheet. The five
(5) tabs of the sheet are General, Restore, Backup Type, Backup Log,
and Exclude Files as shown in the screen captures below. Set the
options that you prefer and then utilize the main screens to
initiate the backups or restores.
